Just some photos of a newly finished ring. Lost wax cast in sterling silver with african amethyst. And...a javalina skull found in the desert on a friend's property.
Thanks! Actually, I think fabricating jewelry (like silversmithing) is more difficult and time consuming. Casting is super fun though and frees you up a bit because you can carve whatever in wax and cast it.
Wow that ring is beautiful! I've always wanted to learn lost wax casting... did you find it difficult to master?
